Prologue
All collectionsPrologue brings together the experiments that established Havlíček’s evolving language of painting. Figures, fragments of words and layered gestures appear, disappear and return in altered form. Explorations of textiles and unconventional supports widen the possibilities of the surface. These works retain the urgency of a practice finding its direction: the image is not a settled statement, but a space in which memory, material and intuition are tested against one another.
