Biography

Born in Prague in 1974, Havlíček came of age between the discipline of graphic arts and the cultural rupture of post-Wall Europe. He moved to the United States in 1999 and settled in Los Angeles in 2011.
Across successive bodies of work, the written mark has evolved from language into a record of duration, movement and presence.
